English Club

English Club is a group of people who want to improve their English. The sessions provide some language teaching, English practice activities, and a chance to socialise with others in English. We sometimes run social activities where we visit local attractions or share food with each other.
Who is English club for?
English club is for people living in Birmingham who want to improve their English in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Current members of English club come from a variety of countries. Their level of English ranges between elementary to intermediate.
What happens at English Club?
The sessions are quite informal. We learn about English Grammar, practise speaking, writing, listening and reading, we talk about different subjects, play games, and complete activities to help you practice English. After the club we also have a Bible Story in simple English which everyone is invited to stay for.
How much does it cost?
English club is free of charge.
Who runs English Club?
English club is a project run by Grace Church Stirchley. Stu, David, Hannah and Jo are all helpers you will meet!
Do I have to be a Christian to come to English Club?
No. We accept people from all religions. Although English Club is run by a church, it is not a religious group.
How can I join?
If you would like to join English club, please sign up below. You only need to sign-up once for the whole term.
