At Grace Church we have always had a heart for our community. Having outgrown our current building on Dell Road, we are excited to be in discussions with the Council about the opportunity to revitalise the former Selly Oak Constituency Office on Pershore Road in Stirchley for the benefit of our community. We aim to renovate and repurpose the building to become a welcoming hub in Stirchley, hosting our church family gatherings and local community groups, from our English language club to our ‘stay and play’ toddler group.
Following negotiations, the Heads of Terms for the lease have now been agreed between Grace Church and Birmingham City Council. Work will now focus around agreeing the formal lease, developing the plans for the site and securing funds for the works.
We look forward to sharing more details soon and inviting our church family, wider partners and local community to get involved in bringing this amazing building back into the heart of Stirchley.
